Employment Law

Employment law is rooted in maintaining strong, trustworthy relationships between employers, employees, and their contractors. Without strong relationships, businesses would fail and employees would struggle to preserve their quality of life. Furthermore, successful employment arrangements support local communities, build prosperity, and impact our local and national economies.

However, there are times when the employer/employee or employer/contractor relationship breaks down, requiring employment law counsel to ensure that both parties understand not only their legal rights and obligations, but also their best interests.

Experienced employment lawyers can also provide seasoned advice at the outset of the employer/employee or employer/contractor relationship to set clear expectations for both parties moving forward and, if necessary, provide guidance, strategy, and support to help facilitate a fair and predictable termination of the employment relationship.
